The Suicideboys are a british rock band, formed in 1998, that became popular in the united states in the early 2000s. The band's initial success came from their covers of american songs, most notably the united states' national anthems "easingene love" and "dancing in the night. " after the death of their lead singer in 2003, the Suicideboys began to reflect on their personal lives and began to turn to their music for comfort. Their first self-titled album was released in 2005, and the group xx became very impressed with the band's potential. The Suicideboys soon after began to tour and began to take their time to play their fans in the uk. The tour was long and the group needed to perfect their set list and set list writing in order to ensure they were playing their best audience members. Xx had also seen the group's first show in 2006, which was their first single release in over a year, and he agreed to manage the band's online presence in order to promote their second single release that was set to be released in the fall of 2006 but was released in late 2007 due to the band's long tour.
